Fall days... Dias de otoño

Hola! :) He tenido un verano lleno de actividades y viajes, ahora para el principio del otoño tambien he estado muy ocupada, especialmente ahora que sere la hermanita mayor en la casa, no hay mucho tiempo para escribir y contarles lo que he hecho. Tuve mi visita al dentista y al medico, en ambas visitas todo bien y sigo creciendo sanita y fuerte. Hablo mucho, mayormente en ingles, pues es mas facil, las palabras son mas cortas y faciles de pronunciar .. pero algunas palabras en español las uso no mas, porque son menos complicadas. Eso si, comprendo el español muy bien y me gusta cuando la gente me habla en español.

Durante los primeros dias de otoño el clima estaba calientito, pudimos pasear e ir al mercado de los granjeros, ademas de ver seguido a mi tia Ruhiyyih jugar futbol. Luego se puso frio, pero eso no nos detuvo para seguir paseando e inclusive viajar. Fuimos a visitar a mis amiguitos en Madison, Wisconsin, donde participe de mi segunda clase de niños Baha'i (la primera fue en la escuela de verano en Indianola, Iowa) y me diverti muchisimo!! Luego fuimos a la boda de mi tio Daniel con tia Emily, pero mis papis no sacaron fotos en ese viaje, grabaron video. A la vuelta del matrimonio mis bisabuelitos paternos pararon a visitarnos en casa y mi mami logro sacar una foto de mi bisabuelito y yo leyendo un libro. Con mis tias abuelas, abuelitos, tios y demas familiares la pase muy, muy bien!

A parte de ello he continuado mis actividades rutinarias, pintando, jugando, corriendo, saltando, comiendo y ayudando a mi mami en la casa, a hacer compras, a cocinar y demas, he estado muy muy entretenida. En dos meses mas mi hermanita vendra y se imaginaran que ahi si no tendre tiempo de mucho, pero prometo al menos poner fotos ;) especialmente mias y de ella...

Summer 2009 :: Part V

Last weekend we celebrated my birthday - yup! an early celebration!! Next weekend we are busy, the following one we all go to Green Lake Conference, then in September we didn't know when my parents will have a weekend free, pluuuus, Grandma Nancy was here this past weekend, so it was perfect time to celebrate it!!! And I loved it! My friends Layli and Rumi came from Madison, and friends from here also came, Willem, Luz, Emanuel, Josue, Alma, older friends like Mary, Hannah, Karen, Jan and so on. We had face painting, although we also had our arms or hands painted, we had lunch together and then cake. Layli and Rumi stay longer with Layli's parents, Lua & Hadi, and we enjoyed their dog Willow... I played with all of them, and I really tried to behave, since I still out of emotions and love bite from time to time.. oops!

El pasado fin de semana celebramos mi cumpleaños, siip! una fiesta adelantada!! El siguiente fin de semana estaremos ocupados, y el proximo vamos a una conferencia en Green Lake, luego en septiembre no sabiamos cuando mis papis tendran un fin de semana libre y como la Abuelita Nancy estaba este fin de semana con nosotros, decidimos celebrarlo entonces. Me encanto mi fiesta! Mis amiguitas Layli y Rumi vinieron de Madison, y mis amigos de aqui tambien vinieron: Willem, Luz, Emanuel, Josue, Alma y amigos adultos como Mary, Hannah, Karen, Jan y asi. Nos divertimos pintandonos las caras, tambien las manos y brazos, comimos un rico almuerzo y luego torta. Layli y Rumi se quedaron mas largo con los papis de Layli, Lua & Hadi, y todos jugamos con su perro Willow... y yo jugue con todos ellos, tratando de ser una buena niña, ya que de a ratos de felicidad y amor se me ocurre morderles... oh oh!

Summer 2009 :: Part IV

Every other Wednesday my Mom and I go to Jan's for devotions at 9:30 am. Now during the summer we hoped to have an outing with all the moms and children, so Jan organized for us to go to a park for lunch and in this park they have a Farm/Zoo that little kids like us can enjoy! :) Unfortunately the other children and their Moms didn't come, so I had Jan and my Mom's attention all by myself!!!!

Cada miercoles de por medio mi Mami y yo vamos a la casa de Jan para devocionales a las 9:30 am. Este verano quisimos todos salir, las mamis y sus niños, asi que Jan organizo para ir a un parque y tener un picnic, ademas en este parque tienen una granja estilo zoologico, donde personitas como nosotros podemos divertirnos! :) Lastima que las otras mamis y sus niños no pudieron venir, de este modo si, Jan y mi mami fueron todas mias!! jejeje...

Summer 2009 :: Part III

Part III is all about our trip to Uncle Ian's house. He lives in St. Joseph, Michigan, a cute beach town and since I love water I loooved it there! We had a good family reunion, we celebrated Tia Ruhiyyih's 19th birthday, and of course, we went to the lake! Here you will see us enjoying the day together, Tia took more photos, so one day she can share some with me to put in my blog. Mom did manage to take some of when I fell asleep on the beach and they protected me from the sun and sand, until the water started to get high and wanted to come in my cozy fort! :) I also received my first birthday gift there, Uncle Ian gave me a bag full of bugs (pastic ones, don't get scared) with a bug house and a book about bugs!!!! Yeeeey!

Esta parte III es sobre nuestro viaje a la casa del Tio Ian. Vive en St. Joseph, Michigan, una linda ciudad playera y como a mi me encanta el agua, me encaaaantoooo estar alli! Tuvimos una linda reunion familiar, celebramos el cumple de la Tia Ruhiyyih -sus 19 años, y obviamente fuimos al lago! En las fotos nos veran disfrutando del dia juntos en la playa, mi tia saco mas fotos y a ver si me da algunas para mi blog.. pero mi Mami pudo sacar algunas de cuando me quede dormida en la playa y todos me protegieron del sol y la arena, hasta que la marea comenzo a subir y el agua se quizo entrar en mi fortaleza! :) Tambien alli recibi mi primer regalo de cumpleaños, el tio Ian me regalo una bolsa llena de bichos (plasticos, asi que no se asusten), con una casita para los bichos y un libro sobre ellos!!! Yey!

Summer 2009 :: Part II

Now here in this part II, I share with you photos of when my grandparents came to visit. Grandma Nancy and Granpa Robert came in two different times, together we had fun going around town, visiting caves in a park few hours aways from here, and they painted the deck, so I enjoyed helping them. In their first trip we celebrated Grandpa's birthday, and I looooooooved playing with both of them, singing and reading books, learning words, or just enjoying outside, walking, playing in the sandbox, gardening, or inside with the many projects they had! It was great!!

Ahora en esta II les comparto las fotos que sacamos cuando mis abuelitos vinieron a visitarnos. La abuelita Nancy y el abuelito Robert vinieron en dos visitas, juntos nos divertimos muchisimo paseando por la ciudad, visitando cuevas a unas horas de aqui, y cuando ellos pintaron el balcon yo disfrute ayudandoles! En su primer visita celebramos el cumple del abuelito, y en general me encaaaaaantoooo jugar con ambos, cantamos y leimos libros, aprendi nuevas palabras, o simplemente saliamos a caminar, jugar con arena, en el jardin con las plantas, o adentro con los diferentes proyectos que ellos tenian! Fue super genial!!

Summer 2009 :: Part I

Hi everyone.. its been quite a while!!! I know is already past mid-August, summer has been busy and happy, so here are some photos and tales of what I've been doing with my parents. First, let me warn you that there is a Summer 2009 :: Part 0 pending to be posted, that is about our awesome trip West, when we visited family in Arizona (Tia Ladan, Tio Ashk, Sana, Rayan and Layli), Tia Nahid & Tio Naysan who came to California and we met with them and spend time with more relatives there, as well as our camping in the Grand Canyon!! So, one of these days my Mom will figure how to put all the photos together (digital and non digital), choose the best ones and publish them. :) then I can write about my experiences as a traveling toddler!!!

Here is the beginning of our summer photos, probably right after the last picture I see posted in June. Hmmm.. lets see, you'll see me with gloves, that is one of my favorite things to do to help Mom around the house: wash dishes. I also help her cook and we get to have yummy snacks, and tea! I love tea, all kinds of it, but of course I get mostly herbal ones :P

When we came back from our trip to the West we went straight to the Iowa Summer School, it was quite lovely and entertaining for all of us. For me was great, they had tables covered with paper and I got to draw and paint, and that is also when I started cutting paper with scisors ~I am very good at it by the way! I also did swim and play, and we got to camp in our new tent, we also got an air mattress and feels just like having a big cozy room just for ourselves!! We met many new friends and are looking for next year's school... I bet I will get to learn interesting things then, the children classes seemed very fun!

Hola a todos! Hace mucho que no nos escribimos... y ya va mas de la mitad de agosto, como veran el verano ha estado lleno de actividades, pero feliz, asi que aqui van fotos y un poco de lo que he estado haciendo con mis papis. Primero si les tengo que advertir que hay un "Summer 2009 :: Part 0" pendiente, sobre nuestro viajezango al Pacifico, cuando fuimos a visitar a nuestra familia en Arizona (Tia Ladan, Tio Ashk, Sana, Rayan y Layli), Tia Nahid & Tio Naysan quienes fueron a California y nosotros fuimos a verlos y paseamos visitando mas parientes alla, asi como de nuestro camping en el Gran Cañon!! Asi que uno de estos dias mi Mami se las ingeniara para organizar las fotos (tanto digitales como no), escoger las mejores y publicarlas :) entonces les escribire con mis experiencias de niña viajera!!!

Aqui van las primeras fotos de mi verano, son las que vienen despues de las fotos que puse en junio. Hmmmm... veamos, me veran de guantes en algunas, pues asi me gusta ayudar a mi Mami, con la lavada de platos! Tambien le ayudo a cocinar y disfrutamos de ricas comiditas juntas con te! Me encanta el te, de todo tipo, pero claro, generalmente tomo los no tan cafeinados :P

Cuando vine de vuelta del viaje al Pacifico nos fuimos directamente a la Escuela de Verano del estado de Iowa, que estuvo muy lindo y entretenido para todos nosotros. Para mi fue genial, tenian mesas cubiertas de papel y yo dibuje y pinte sobre ellas hasta cansarme, alli tambien comence a cortar papel con tijeras ~y soy buenisima en ello~ Tambien nadamos y jugamos, nosotros acampamos en nuestra nueva carpa y tambien estrenamos nuestra cama inflable, es como tener una habitacion grande y comoda solo para nosotros!! Conocimos muchos nuevos amigos y ahora esperamos al siguiente año... de seguro aprendere cosas interesantes en la siguiente escuela, pues las clases de niños estaban suuper divertidas!!

Hi everyone! This is Bahia.. or as I pronounce it "Biia" :) I am going to write today a bit of myself, its been quite long since I've told you about me, but here we go, and most probably I will get tired and go to play soon, so I will tell you more later. Lets see... mmmm... I do say that when they ask me a question and I want to think about the answer, I say "mmmm.." I also like hugs, I actually love hugging everyone, so Mom and Dad are trying to teach me who to hug and who not to ;)

I can say 18 body parts in Spanish, and less of them in English, but not really sure about the exact number... I do know all the body parts in both languages, but for the words I sometime make them up. I do love to answer to every question, so if I do not know the right word, I make it up. I also read myself to my parents, but it is just "tap, tap, tap .. tap" what you will hear. I do love to immitate every single word I hear, so when Mom is reading I repeat, if she is talking, I repeat, and I repeat even the way it sounds, which drives my Mom crazy sometimes because she goes, please stop, and I say "plis estop" and I can see she has enough when she leaves the room.. hmmm! I do enjoy playing by myself, and MOVE EVERYTHING! So if the place was tiddy at a certain point of time, believe me, it won't be if I enter that place!! :D I do help clean up if I am asked to, and I know where things go.. and also I can remember when I misplace things, which my Mom appreciates.

Oh I love singing, my favorite songs are the eenzy weenzy spider and el payaso plin plin, I do the hand movements, and the key words I say them, and the other words I mumble them, but they are good songs, my parents love hearing them! Another thing I do is recognize the meaning of here and there, and theeere when is as far as where my grandparents are. I can also jump, and of course, I play with the ball, kicking it, throwing it, and bitting it (which is not good because I already have ruined many balls like that!)

These days I sleep on the floor, they made my crib in a toddler's bed, and I like it, but I love sleeping on the floor, when is bedtime my Dad takes me and easily I fall asleep on my pillow, on a pad, on the floor... I sleep all through the night, unless I want to drink something, but mostly I see everyone next morning between 6:00 and 7:00 am... and I do a good 2 hour nap at noon, and enjoy play time all day long! I love coloring, its been over a month that I like making circles (redondo), lines (raya) and dots (punto), usually I am saying what I am making and I sing while painting, and all seems that I feel more comfortable using my left hand!! :) I am a lefty they say!!!! But I am free to choose, and sometimes I experiment also with the right one.

Well, enough of me... how are you??? what are you up to? tell me! Love, "Biia"

Hola a todos! Es Bahia, o como lo pronuncio yo.. "Biia" :) Les voy a escribir un poquito sobre mi hoy, pues hace tiempo que no les he contado de mi, asi que aqui vamos y de seguro puede que me canse y quiera ir a jugar dentro de poco, asi que les cuento mas luego. A veeer... mmmm... yo digo eso cuando alguien me pregunta algo y quiero pensar la respuesta, digo "mmmm.." y me encantan los abrazos, me encanta abrazar a todos, asi que mi Mami y Papi me estan enseñando a quien y a quien no abrazar ;)

Puedo nombrar 18 partes del cuerpo en español, no se cuantos puedo nombrar en ingles, pero de seguro son menos, aunque se todas las partes del cuerpo en ambos idiomas cuando los escucho, pero para nombrarlos a veces me invento las palabras, me invento cualquier palabra que no sepa con tal de responder si alguien me pregunta algo. Tambien me gusta leerles a mis papis, siempre leo igual "tap, tap, tap .. tap." Me encanta imitar cada palabra que escucho, asi que cuando me pongo en ese carril repito exactamente todo lo que mi Mami lee o habla, hasta imito su tono y todo! A veces la vuelvo loca a mi Mami, se porque ella me dice "pease stop" yo repito "plis estop" y a veces la hago cansar hasta que se va del cuarto... hmmm! Me encanta jugar sola y entonces MUEVO TODO! Si entro a un cuarto donde todo esta ordenado, creanme no tarda mucho en estar todo patas pa'arriba!! :D Eso si, ayudo a limpiar cuando me lo piden y se donde va todo.. y tambien recuerdo donde esta algo que esta realmente fuera de lugar, eso le gusta mucho a mi Mami.

Oh, me encanta cantar! mis canciones favoritas son de la arañita inzy winzy y del payaso plin plin, hago los movimientos de la mano y canto con fuerzas las palabras claves que se, las otras plabras simplemente las invento, pero canto bien, a mis padres les encanta escucharlas! Y otra cosa que se hacer es diferencias entre cerca y lejos, aqui y alla, y se aaaaalllaaaaaaa bien lejos, donde estan mis abuelitos por ejemplo. Tambien se saltar y claro, jugar con la pelota tirandola, pateandola o simplemente mordiendola (lo cual no esta bien pues ya he arruinado muchas pelotas asi!)

Estos dias duermo sobre el piso, convirtieron mi cuna en una cama con barras y me gusta, pero me encanta dormir sobre el piso. Cuando llega la hora de dormir mi Papi me lleva y asi no mas caigo dormida sobre mi almohada, sobre un hedredon, sobre el piso... Duermo toda la noche, a no ser que este super sedienta, pero generalmente me despierto a las 6:00 o 7:00 am.. y duermo una siestita de dos horas al medio dia, despues de jugar todo el dia! Me encanta dibujar y colorear, ya hace un mes que se hacer circulos, rayas y puntitos, y mientras los hago digo "raya!" o "dedondo!" o "punto, punto punto!" y por el momento me siento muy comoda usando mi mano izquierda, asi que parece que soy surda! :) aunque aun uso ambas, experimento con la derecha tambien.

Bueno, ya no mas sobre mi, ahora diganme como estan ustedes?! Que hacen?? Besos "Biia"

Aqui van fotos de todo un poco. Hace como un mes que vengo vistiendome con lo que encuentro, ya se ponerme inclusive mis propias medias y zapatos correctamente, puedo ponerme pantalones ~a veces shorts! si no son muy ajustados ;) Ahora bien, las poleras son mas dificiles, generalmente solo se poner la cabeza correctamente y el resto, bueno, en eso ando, tratando de descifrar como pasar las manos por las mangas!! Pero eso si, si es una camisa de botones o cierres, o una chompa o chamarra abierta adelante, si me la puedo poner facil!!! :) Aqui van unas fotos de mi vestida con la polera de mi Mami y las medias de mi Papi..

Ah! Y mas fotos, aqui van unas de hoy y ayer, las plantas del jardin de verduras van creciendo bien, las frutillas ya estan apareciendo.. tengo realmente que cuidar mis manos de no ir a sacar frutillitas, se ven tan bonitas, parecen pelotitas!! Mientras mi Mami sacaba fotos ayer yo jugue en la caja de arena que me hizo mi Papi y hoy me bañe en la piscinita, asi que aqui va de todo un poco en cuanto fotos. Ah! Y ya sabian que tengo 21 meses?!?!?!? Se contar hasta tres, a veces me acuerdo el cuatro y el cinco, pero se que en tres meses mas cumplire 2 añitos y estoy practicando de poner mis dos deditos juntos para poder decir DOS!!!!!

A week of gardening :: Una semana de jardineria

La semana pasada mi Mami y yo la pasamos casi todos los dias afuera por todo el dia trabajando en nuestro jardin, y cuando mi Papi venia a la casa, una vez terminabamos la cena, saliamos con el tambien a seguir trabajando en el jardin!! :) El año pasado mi Mami planto varios bulbos, asi que los hemos estado cuidando y ahora estan en flor, ademas habiamos plantado arboles frutales (manzanas y cherries) y ahora estan comenzando a tener botones por donde las saldra las hojitas!! Nuestras frutillas estan bien grandes, yo ayude a mi Mami a limpiar las hojas secas que estaban protegiendolas del frio y la nieve, ademas entre los tres trabajamos en limpiar y aflojar la tierra, donde plantamos espinacas, lechuga, nabos, arvejas, zanahorias y donde plantaremos mas en unas semanas mas! Me encanta estar afuera, y me encanta el jardin tambien, se que esta semana estaremos afuera desde mañana, pues ha estado frio y ventoso ultimamente, pero desde mañana estare correteando en mi jardin de nuevo!!!

Las week Mom & I spent it almost all day everyday outside, we were working in our garden, and when Daddy would come home he also would join us after we all had dinner! :) Last year mi Mom planted some bulbs, and now we are seeing them bloom and we are taking care of them, as well as our fruit trees (apples and cherry bushes) which have started to bud for leaves!! Our strawberries are also growing, I helped Mommy to clean the dry leaves that were protecting them from the cold and snow of the winter, and all three of us we cleaned and tilt, and prepared the ground, and planted spinach, lettuce, rutabaga, kohlrabi, peas, carrots, and soon we will plant more! I love outside, and I especially love the garden, I know this week we will be out again from tomorrow, since it has been cold and windy lately, but from tomorrow I will be working in my garden again!!!

Oh! Y mi parte FAVORITA es darle AGUA a las plantas!!!! :D

Cupcake time!!

Last Saturday my Mom made cupcakes for dessert, we enjoyed them, I even got one that night and another one the next day!! I love cupcakes, and I really like saying "cupcakes" ;) These ones were made so they looked like sunflowers with little beatles on top, they were yummy too, I liked eating each part of the cupcakes, the flowers, the leaves, the beatle, and the frosting, the cake itself wasn't my favorite, although was tasty, but nothing compares to the frosting!! :D

El sabado pasado mi Mami hizo masitas para el postre, las cuales las disfrutamos mucho y hasta yo tuve una masita enterita para mi! y otra para el siguiente dia!! Me encantan, se llaman "cupcakes" en ingles y me encanta decir esa palabra tambien ;) Estas fueron hechas de tal manera que parecian macetitas con girasoles, con petitas encima. Estaban riquisimas, me gusto comer cada parte de la masita por separado: las flores, las hojas, la petita, y el baño de azucar, la tortita en si no me gusto tanto, aunque sabia rico, pero nada como el baño y las decoraciones!! :D

Happy Naw Ruz!

Hi! Happy Naw Ruz everyone!! I loved celebrating Naw Ruz this year, we had a party in Cedar Rapids and we each took something for the potluck dinner. At home my Mom made a cake for the party, and I got to help her decorating it with butterflies!!! After placing them, then I wanted to remove them, and finally I understood that they had to stay on the cake until it was time to cut the cake!! :) At the party we all ate and danced, it was so much fun we forgot to take more than these few pictures.. but anyways, here they go!

Hola! Feliz Naw Ruz a todos!! Me encanto celebrar Naw Ruz este año pues tuvimos una fiesta aqui en Cedar Rapids donde todos llevaron algo para compartir en la cena. Mi Mami hizo una torta para la fiesta y YO ayude a decorarla con mariposas!!! Despues de poner las mariposas yo quise quitarlas, pero despues de muchas explicaciones finalmente entendi que las mariposas tenian que quedarse sobre la torta hasta que sea el momento de cortar la torta!! :) En la fiesta la pasamos bien comiendo y bailando, fue tan lindo todo que nos olvidamos de tomar fotos, solo sacamos algunas y aqui van para que tengan una idea!

La primavera ya se puede oler cerca, hemos tenido un par de dias calientitos y ya se siente que viene!! :) Mi Mami planto bulbos el otoño pasado y ya los estamos viendo salir... y yo le ayudo a cuidarlos! Hoy fuimos a dar una vuelta caminando por el vecindario y Karen, amiga de mis papis, se nos unio al grupo. Fuimos al parque y nos divertimos mucho!!

Springtime is very near now, we had few warm days now and we can feel spring is coming!! :) My Mom planted few bulbs last fall and now they are coming up.. and I help her taking care of them!! Today we went for a walk in the neighborhood and Karen, my parents'friend, joined us for it. We went to the park and had a great time!!

More good news: the past two days I've slept all night through! Yup, I went to bed and woke up next day, no fuzz, no cry, slept straight till morning, and I feel great! aaaand my parents: they feel great too!! Super duper happy!!!! :D

Here are some pictures of me yesterday enjoying the great weather, it was around 60F and we had walks and play outside with Mommy and Aunt Ruhiyyih. And also some pictures of me with my Ayyam-i-Ha gift, a little early, but I just couldn't wait so now I got a car that I am playing with ALL DAY LONG!

Mas buenas noticias: estos dos dias, o noches, he dormido toda la noche de seguido! Sipiripi!!! Me acoste a dormir y me desperte al dia siguiente, sin despertar, sin llorar o molestar, dormi de corrido hasta que fue de dia, y me siento super bien! yyyyy... mis padres ni se diga! Estan chochisimos!!!! :D

Aqui pongo algunas fotos mias ayer disfrutando el bello dia, estaba a unos 12 grados C y aprovechamos para caminar y jugar afuera con mi Mami y tia Ruhiyyih. Tambien veran fotos mias con mi regalo de Ayyam-i-Ha adelantado, puesto que no pude esperarme y ahora juego con este autito TODO EL DIA!

Hi everyone! Good news!! I sleep all by myself -that is in my very own room- and in my own crib!! :) I am very happy to announce that, it was quite a process, not only for me but also for my parents. They were quite loving and patient, they supported me and stood by me until I finally made it!!! So, here is the story, on Thursday last week my Mom and Dad decided to do this, I wasn't to sure, but hey! I liked the crib, since Monday I had fun going in it, jumping on its mattress, and although I found it quite different to "my bed" -go figure, it wasn't really mine, that big bed was my parents and I though they were just there to make me company! It was THEIR bed!!

So, Mom nursed me and I slept on my crib, but I woke up few times, and not knowing where I was I cried a bit, but everytime I just started doing so, my Mommy came and hugged me, lifted me and either nursed me or just comforted me until I fell asleep again. She even had to come in my crib once at the end, because I was starting to not like going there all by myself! Next two nights were similar, although I felt better and I cried less, but I expected her to come in and she had to be sincere, she told me that I had to be sleep there alone! What a shocking thing to hear, so the next three nights she not only didn't come inside the crib, but also asked me to sleep on my own, without nursing or anything! O-h m-y g-o-s-h!!! It was soooo hard the first night, I didn't like it, cried and complained, asked her to pleaaaase take me, but she lovingly stayed there, also my Dad came and supported me until finally I would sleep on my own. And of course, every day got better and better, because I knew they will be there if I needed them! So last night I did it! I didn't cry all night, I fell asleep at 10:00 pm and when I woke up at 4:00 am asked for a snack, and went back to bed until today almost until 9:00!! I feel awesome! Hopefully this is it and from now on it will be just me and my crib!!! :)

Hola a todos! Buenas noticias!! Les cuento que ahora duermo solita -o sea, en mi propio cuarto- y en mi propia cama!! :) Estoy felices de contarles esta nocticia, puesto que fue un gran proceso, no solamente para mi pero tambien para mis padres. Ellos fueron muy cariñosos y pacientes conmigo, me apoyaron y estuvieron ahi durante todo el proceso hasta que finalmente lo pude lograr!!! Aqui les cuento la historia: el jueves pasado mis padres decidieron que teniamos que hacer esto, yo no estaba tan segura de ello, pero me gustaba mi cuna, desde el lunes comence a divertirme entrando en ella, saltando en su colchon y aunque me parecia super diferente a "mi cama" -ha! imaginense! no era realmente mi cama, esa cama grande es de mis papis y yo que pensaba que estaban alli solo para hacerme compañia! Pero era SU CAMA!

Asi que mi Mami me dio leche y dormi en mi cuna, pero me levante algunas veces y como no sabia donde estaba, llore. Pero siempre, ni bien comence a llorar, mi Mami vino y me abrazo, me levanto y ya sea me dio leche o simplemente me calmo hasta que dormirme de nuevo. Inclusive tuvo que venir dentro de la cuna la ultima vez que me levante pues ya me estaba disgustando estar alli solita! Las siguientes dos noches fueron similares, pero cada vez me senti mejor con la idea y llore menos, pero como queria que ella se venga dentro de la cuna conmigo, ella fue sincera al tercer dia y me dijo que yo tenia que estar alli solita! Que cosa mas impactante es escuchar eso... asi que las siguientes tres noches ella no vino dentro de la cuna y a la vez me pidio que durmiera por mi cuenta, sin leche o nada! Mieeechi!! fie taaan dificil la primera noche, no me gusto para nada, llore y me queje, le pedi que por favor me alzara, pero ella me reiteraba que no y se quedo ahi a mi lado, inclusive mi Papi vino a apoyarme hasta que finalmente me dormi. Y claro, cada dia fue mas facil, pues sabia que ellos estarian ahi si los necesitaba! Asi que anoche finalmente lo logre! No llore toda la noche, dormi a las 10:00 pm y cuando me desperte a las 4:00 am pedi algo de tomar, tome y cuando entre a la cuna dormi hasta las 9:00!! Me siente super bien! y ojala que ya estoy lista para que sea independiente para dormir por las noches!! :)

Today we woke up and there was snow on the ground, plus more snow falling from the sky! It was beautiful, and I really wanted to go outside, so I got super happy when my parents said lets get dressed to go outside!!!!
I don't have boots yet, so they made special boots for me, I wore my slippers, on top my Dad's woolen socks, and on top of that plastic bags so I will not get wet. We played with the snow, it was fluffy and dry, I tried packing it, but no success. I also went sledding with my Dad and later made angels with both my parents... actually at the end you will see a picture of our three angels!
It was a very fun day!!!! :)

Cochabamba

Yesterday we arrived from a two days trip to Cochabamba, Bolivia´s third largest city. I went there with my grandparents and parents, and we stayed with Dr. Ouladi, aunt Didar and uncle Nadim. It was so nice to be with them, aunt Didi shared her dolls and bears with me and uncle Nadim always tried tickling me!! I would always shake Dr. Ouladi´s hand and say Abha, I really really liked him, and also his plants! With them we visited few places in the town, many things were closed because of New Year, but we still enjoyed the pintoresque views of this town, located in a valley, surrounded by greenish mountains and with the perfect weather for a midwest girl like me!!

With my grandparents and parents we went to a cool place outside the city of Santa Cruz, called las Lomas de Arenas or sand dunes, yup! right in the middle of green scenary you find sand dunes and I really really enjoyed playing with it!!!

We celebrated Christmas at aunt Ingrid and uncle Yiyo, they prepared a yummy dinner and I was able to visit with all my aunts and met my uncle Rodolfo. We played and after dinner, which was after midnight, I could open my gifts! It was a warm day, with warm happy memories now... next day for lunch I went to tia Monica´s and there also I enjoyed playing with the children of her family.

We went to the Zoo with my parents and aunt Carolina last weekend, and here are some photos of that fun visit. I love animals, and going to the zoo was a happy thing for me, I met some animals from this region and I talked to them, and some talked back!!

Family Weekend :: Fin de semana en familia

A week ago my great grandma Elenita invited all the family for lunch at aunt Ingrid and Uncle Yiyo. We had a yummy meal and an awesome dessert: chocolates!!! My aunts Carolina and Olivia played with me with lots of balls that great grandma gave me, I loved it. They will throw them all at once to me or hide them under my dress and I couldn´t stop laughing of excitement!!

Soon after we rested from the great food we had we walked over uncle Negro and aunt Roxanita´s home, where my parents and I jumped into their swimming pool and enjoyed the water. The evening was lovely, the weather perfect for me as an Iowan, a lovely breeze and the garden was a paradise for my little feet, I explored all over my aunt´s plants, the grass tickled me and aunt Olivia introduced me to her dog: Bidou. I played with him, we even exchanged our balls and ran after each other. Later on we had coffee time where aunt Roxanita spread another amazing table full of delicious things from which I tried and loved all, especially eating empanadas de queso, probably I ate one whole one, and that is a lot for my size! We danced and everyone clapped at me and auntie, because we danced non stop!! I really really enjoyed my family that day, and I know they enjoyed me too... just look at their happy faces looking at me! :)

Una semana atras mi bisabuelita Elenita invito a toda la familia a comer un chanchito para el almuerzo del sabado en casa de mis tios Ingrid y Yiyo. La comida estaba riquisima y el postre era increiblemente delicioso: chocolate!! Mis tias Carolina y Olivia jugaron conmigo toda la tarde, la abuelita me regalo muchas pelotas y ellas me las tiraban, a veces todas al mismo tiempo o las escondian debajo de mi falda y yo estaba tan feliz, no podia parar de reir de tanta alegria!!

Despues de digerir un poco la rica comida caminamos hacia la casa de mis tios Negro y Roxanita, donde mis papis y yo saltamos a la piscina y disfrutamos del agua. Ese atardecer estaba de pelicula, bellisimo, el clima perfecto para mi que soy de Iowa, con una brisa fresca y el jardin era un paraiso para mis pequeños pies: explore por todos lados y entre todas las plantas de mi tia, la grama hacia cosquillitas a mis piecitos y tia Olivia me presento a su perrito: Bidou. Jugue con el tanto que hasta intercambiamos nuestras pelotitas y nos perseguiamos el uno al otro. Luego tomamos el cafe de la siesta, la tia Roxanita habia preparado todo un derroche de cosas para su deliciosa mesa y yo probe todo, especialmente me encanto comer las empanadas de queso.. probablemente me habre comido una entera, y eso es mucho para mi tamaño! Bailamos y todos nos aplaudian a mi y a mi tia Roxanita, pues bailamos sin parar!! De veras que me encanto ese dia en familia y se que todos me disfrutaron a mi tambien... basta ver a sus caras felices mirandome! :)

Hola? Hola!! Estoy bien, gracias. He crecido mucho, corro por todos lados, zapateo, bailo, mi dedito indice entra y apunta TODO!! He descubierto muchisimas cosas desde que estoy en Bolivia y he aprendido muchisimas cosas, hablo varias palabras, todas en español: Hola, agua, uva, huevo, mas y de seguro no me entienden las demas que digo, pues hablo y hablo y no me entienden! ;) Aun sigo siendo muy expresiva en mis cariñosos abrazos que a veces terminan con una mordedura, ultimamente no he dado besos como lo hacia antes, pero si he aprendido a dar la mano y a caminar con los zapatos. Estoy aprendiendo a jugar con otros niños y eso alegra a mis papis. Me encantan los animales, las frutas, las flores y en general la naturaleza. He aprendido a pisar bichos, pues aqui no se puede confiar y hay que matar a todo bicho que se cruce frente a uno... y soy muy buena en ello. Me encanta jugar con agua, ayudo inclusive a hacer trabajos que incluyan agua, como lavar ropa o platos, el piso o regar las plantas. Las pelotas siguen siendo mi juguete favorito, pero tambien estoy descubriendo el placer de jugar a "pretender"... estoy creciendo, rapido y feliz, disfrutando el calor de Santa Cruz, mi familia aqui y los amigos. Han sido bellos meses, y yo ya tengo 15!! Cuando me preguntan, 'Bahia, cuantos años tienes?' yo muestro mi dedito diciendo 1!!!! :D

Hola? Hola!! I am fine, thank you. I have grown up a lot, I run everywhere now, I also stump, dance, and my little indice finger goes EVERYWHERE and points EVERYTHING!! I have discovered many things since I am in Bolivia and also I have learn tons, I speak many words now, all in Spanish: Hola (Hi), agua (water), uva (grapes), huevo (egg), mas (more) and most probably people are not understanding the other words I see, because I speak all the time but no one gets me! ;) I am still very expressive with my warm hugs which sometimes end with bitting, and lately I haven´t given kisses as I used to, but I´ve learn to shake hands and to walk with grown up shoes. I am also learning and getting better with playing with other children and my parents love that! I love animals, fruits, flowers and all what is nature. Though I´ve learned to step on any bug, since here we can´t trust the insects and we need to kill them... and I am quite proficient on that! I love playing with water, helping with chores that involve water, such as washing things, moping or watering plants. The balls are still my favorite toys, but also I am discovering the pleasure of "pretend" games... I am growing, fast and happy, enjoying the warmth of Santa Cruz, my family here and friends. They have been lovely months and I have 15 months now!! When they ask me 'Bahia, how old are you?' I show my finger meaning 1!!!! :D

We had a lovely dinner at Mehran & Mery, and their twins, Yasmin and Nasrin. We ate a Bolivian typical food called picante de gallina, and we enjoyed the beautiful view of their apartment, their swing and lovely company of friends that are like family.

El jueves a media noche fui al aeropuerto para darle la bienvenida a mi Papi, llego a Santa Cruz a eso de las 11:50 pm y hasta el 4 de enero estare con el y mi Mami disfrutando el calor de Santa Cruz y a nuestra queria familia. Cuando lo vi quede estupefacta de verlo, no lo podia creer y poco a poco me fui haciendo a la idea que era realidad y me puse a jugar con el!

Last Thursday at midnight I went to the airport to welcome my Dad, who arrived to Santa Cruz around 11:50 pm and I will spend time in Santa Cruz with him and my Mom until January 4th, enjoying the warmth of the place and our family here. When I saw him I was in awe to see him here, I couldn´t believe it and slowly I realized it was true and I warmed up to him, and played with him!

Last Saturday we went with my Mom and grandparents to a restaurant owned by two Iranian brothers named La Herradura, and they prepared lunch especially for us. It was delicious, tender meat with persian rice, yogurt with cucumbers and herbs. I loved the beautiful fish tank that they have there and also I found a little friend, who played with me and invited me to his birthday this coming weekend.

El pasado sabado fuimos con mi Mami y abuelitos a un restaurant que tiene dos hermanos Iranies, amigos de mis abuelitos, llamado La Herradura y donde prepararon un almuerzo especialmente para nosotros. Estaba delicioso, la carne era jugosa y suave, acompañada de arroz Persa, yogurt con pepinos y hierbas. Me encanto el tanque de peces que habia en el restaurant y tambien conoci un amiguito con quien jugue y quien me invito a su cumpleaños este fin de semana que viene.

Family Sunday :: Domingo de Familia

El domingo almorzamos en familia, mi tio Yiyo y tia Ingrid prepararon un riquisimo churrasco, comi carne, mucho arroz con queso y palmitos. Mi tia Ingrid me hizo unos chocolates especiales y fue la primera vez que comi toda una paleta! Me encanto!! Mis tias jugaron conmigo e inclusive nos divertimos con Zicco, el perrito!! :)

Sunday we had a family lunch. Uncle Yiyo and aunt Ingrid prepared a delicious bbq Southamerican style, I ate meat, lots of rice with cheese and palm hearts. Aunt Ingrid made me special chocolate candy, and it was my first time eating a whole one! I loved it!! I played with all my aunts and we also had fun with Zicco, their doggie!! :)

Ayer fui al cumpleaños de mi primita Camila, quien cumplia 6 años! Me diverti mucho, comi mi primer dulce y me gusto, tambien comi empanadas, helado, sandwich y pizza. Baile y jugue mucho, me encantan los globos asi que me dieron algunos, tambien me prestaron un camioncito y fui de un lado al otro en el. Al final del cumple quede rendida y lista para dormir!!

Yesterday was my cousin Camila´s birthday, who turned 6 years old! I had a great time, I ate my first candy and I liked it, I also ate empanadas (like pasties), ice cream, sandwich and cheese pizza. I danced and played plenty, I love baloons so I got few, and also they had a little truck I played with, driving it all around. At the end of the party I was so tired that I was ready to sleep!!

Ayer fui a jugar con mi amiguita Fereshte, me gusto muchisimo estar con ella y mi tia Moky, me senti en mi propia casa y hasta fuimos al parque afuera de su casa. Fereshte se puso los zapatos de mi mami y podia caminar como si fueran los de ella. A mi me queda mucho hasta poder caminar asi con los zapatos de grande!!

Yesterday I went to play with my friend Fereshte, I loved being with her and aunt Moky, I really felt at home and we also went to the park outside her home. Fereshte wore my Mom´s shoes and she was able to walk no problem, just like if they were hers. I still need to learn how to walk that good with grown up shoes.

Hoy fui a recibir a mi amiguita Fereshte, su mami y sus abuelitos, ademas de la Sra. Eli, que venian de vuelta de la conferencia en Chile... al que lastimosamente no pudimos ir nosotros. Today we went to welcome my friend Fereshte, her mom and grandparents, and Mrs. Eli, who were arriving from the conference in Chile. We were also supposed to attend that event, but we were not able to go at the end. Yesterday we visited the cemetery to see my great grandpa´s and his mother´s resting place. I enjoyed the cemetery very much because of all the flowers and the greenery around. I played with my grandpa Sia while grandma Carmen was placing some greens, and next time we will bring flowers, since this visit was a quick one, just for prayers!! :)

Hi everyone, wondering where am I? I am in Santa Cruz, Bolivia!! My first trip down the Equador to see Grandma & Grandpa Naraghis, and also my first time separated from my Dad more than a day! Well, things are good, we had a good trip, I enjoyed the planes a lot, I also loved the airports and the many many people I saw, I almost waved at everyone I saw or met! And it was great seeing other children traveling, for example the children of a play ground I befriended in the airport in Dallas, or a little girl my age who came to me and shook my hand just coming out the airplane there, or Liliana, a girl a month older traveling with her mom also to Santa Cruz, with whom we played until we got very tired in Miami! It was very nice flying, I nursed when departing or arriving and most of the time I slept on my Mommy´s lap. The only part that wasn´t that good was when we landed in La Paz, and we had to wait more than an hour for the plane to be cleaned, refilled of fuel and food, and passengers. I woke up from a 6 hours flight and was happy playing when the altitude sickness kicked in and I puked!! First time I actually did that, wasn´t pleasant at all, and I started looking pale, then green and finally purple, so Mom asked for oxigen and I kind of started feeling better, and it was time to go. At the airport my Grandpa Sia was waiting as well as my aunt Olivia and great aunt Roxanita. When

Oh! Let me tell you this place is lovely but very hot, the day we arrived it was warm but good, then it got really really hot, so I really didn´t feel like eating or nursing, but still I had my water, and now it is okay, it is almost a week I am here so today I am feeling more used to the weather. At the beginning I was sleeping in a room with AC but today I am trying to just be "room temperature" so the continuous change won´t make me get sick. I can tell you that the heat is getting the grown ups sick, my Mommy is sick since Thursday and today Grandma Carmen got sick. They are really taking good care of me, so I will stay healthy.

So far I have met my Great Grandma Elenita, most of my great aunts & uncles, and many of my aunts. On Sunday many of my family members came for lunch and they brought me toys for presents, so now I am happy playing with them! :)

I wish everyone happy days, either starting winter days or summer days, like here!!

Today the Birth of the Bab is celebrated around the world! I went last night to celebrate it with my Mom & Dad and the Baha'i Community here in Cedar Rapids, my friend Bera was there and many adult friends! Today we went to pick apples from our neighbors and here are few pictures of me :)

Well, not much to report except that I am walking everywhere now and enjoying walking holding things in my hands (my parents don't like it, they think I might fall and hurt myself, but really, I know what I am doing!)
This week my Mom made a surprise for me, while I went to nap she drew and painted flowers in one side of a wall in my bedroom, and I loved it! Here are some pictures of today, my Dad had placed a night lamp from which my Mommy got inspired to make the flowers, she also found few bugs made of wood and glued them to the wall. I love to try to reach the flowers and the bugs, but still they are to high... I love playing with the cord though, I think they are planning to attach it to the wall, hmmm...

Pues no hay mucho que contar excepto que estoy caminando a todos lados ahora y disfrutando caminar llevando cosas en mis manos (a mis padres si no les gusta eso, creen que me voy a caer y lastimar con esas cosas, pero de veras.. yo se lo que hago!)
Esta semana mi Mami me dio una sorpresa, mientras me daba una siesta ella dibujo y pinto unas flores a una lado de una de las paredes de mi cuarto, y me encanto! Aqui van algunas fotos tomadas hoy, mi Papi habia colgado una lampara de noche de la cual mi Mami se inspiro para hacer las flores, y ella encontro unos bichitos hechos en madera que los pego a la pared. Me encanta tratar de alcanzar las flores y los bichos, pero estan tan altos que aun no puedo.. me encanta si jugar con el cable y creo que ellos estan planeando atajarlo a la pared... hmmmmmmmmm...

Puedo caminar!!! :) Bueeeeno, casi casi, en realidad ya di mis primeros pasos, entre el fin de semana y ayer he comenzado a caminar, di mis primeros pasos en Chicago el domingo y desde entonces estoy tratando, ayer y hoy he tratado de caminar por todos lados, doy a veces unos 5 o 6 pasos y luego me caigo, otras esos pasitos son suficientes para ir de un lugar a otro, pero igual, cuando me caigo me levanto y sigo y lo hago caminando!! Ya no quiero gatear, solo quiero caminar!!!! Estoy super emocionada y aqui van unas fotos, pero como mi Mami siempre tarda con la camara, solo una me tomo en medio de mi caminata... :)

I can walk!!! :) Well, sort of, the real thing is that I already gave my first steps las weekend, and between then and yesterday I have been walking, I started with the very first ones in Chicago last Sunday and since then I just want to walk, yesterday and today I've been better, I try to walk everywhere, sometimes I fall after 5 or 6 steps, but sometimes I just manage to go from one side to another and don't fall! Even if I fall I just get up and continue.. walking!! I don't want to crawl, I just want to walk!!!! I am very excited and here are few pictures, but since my Mom is a bit slow getting the camera ready, she just got one picture of me while walking ;P

Today is my Aunt Nahid and my Mommy's birthday!!! Aunt Ruhiyyih made a cake for her and after dinner we sang and had Mommy blew candles! I was fascinated about the candles, and I know I will have my own cake and candles soon!!!!

The other day my Mom brought up the swing for my friend Bera to use it while we were eating lunch, and I remembered it! I wanted to try it, so here are a couple of pictures of me in it, oh my Gosh! I am so BIG!! I fitted, but since I can move and bounce the swing was not going to hold me too long, so that was it, I had to come out. I remember I really liked it, oh! here my Mommy found a picture of me when I was two weeks in this very same swing!!!

Cuando mi Mami cocina a mi me gusta tambien hacerlo, asi que yo me pongo a cocinar, pero no sobre la hornilla pues es muy caliente, fu, fu, fu!
Me gusta poner ingredientes en mis peroles y batir, batir, batir! A veces tengo que oler y otras degustar para ir viendo que le falta a mi comidita. Cuando quieran pueden venir a que les sirva un rico plato calientito!!!

When my Mom cooks I would also like to do so, and that is how I also cook, but not over the burner, that is hot, fu, fu, fu!
I like to add the ingredients in the pots and stir, stir, stir! Sometimes I have to smell or taste to see what is missing in my yummy food. Any time you want you could come and enjoy a good warm meal prepared by me!!!!

Mi friend McKenna came to Cedar Rapids to visit her Grandma Jan, and I had the chance to play with her one morning before she got too busy with her parents and their plans in Iowa. She is from Colorado, and she is already walking! So I had a lot to learn from her, I really observed what she did and tried to immitate her ;)

Mi amiguita McKenna vino a Cedar Rapids para visitar a su Abuelita Jan, asi fue que pude pasar una mañana jugando con ella antes de que con sus padres se ocupe en otras cosas por aqui en Iowa. Ella viene de Colorado y ya esta caminado! Como veran tengo bastante que aprender de ella y por ello observe lo que hacia con mucho detenimiento y trate de imitarla en todo ;)

Very briefly, I am well and enjoying summer with my parents and family, Aunt Ruhiyyih comes when she can and last weekend we went to Lake McBride and it was my first time in a big mass of water. I loved it, we had our lunch there and I just wanted to be in the water all day, the sand felt funny, especially in between my toes and splashing the water felt not only refreshing but quite a great game!!

I also had sweet corn these days, and here are pictures of my first ear that I grab and eat by myself! I am a big girl, I guess.. proof of that is that my Mom asked me to help her making bread today... what a great helper I am!!!

Bien rapido dejenme contarles que estoy bien y disfrutando el verano con mis padres y demas familiares, mi tia Ruhiyyih viene cuando puede y el pasado fin de semana fuimos a un lago y esa fue mi primera vez en una tina gigante! Me encanto!! Comimos alla nuestro almuerzo y yo no queria nada mas que estar en el agua todo el dia. La arena se sentia quisquillosa entre mis deditos de los pies y chapusear el auga se siente refrescante y un lindo juego!!

Tambien comi maiz estos dias y me dieron todo un mazorca para mi solita! Estoy ya grande.. y prueba de ello es que mi Mami me pidio hoy ayuda para hacer pan y soy una gran ayuda!!!!

My little friend Bera is born! She came to this world yesterday at around 11:00 pm and I know her parents are so happy to have her in their arms now, I bet she also is happy to finally see them. I always wondered how my parents looked like, I could hear them in my first world, so I toooootally understand them!! She is very cute, has a lot of hair and looked very peaceful when we visited her today. I was so happy to meet her at last that I kept making loud noises to make sure she knew I was there, ready to play, but she was tired, she slept the whole time. I waved at her "hello" and blow kisses too. :)

Mi amiguita Bera nacio! Vino a este mundo ayer a eso de las 11:00 pm y se que sus papis estan felices de tenerla finalmente en sus brazos, ademas apuesto de que ella esta feliz tambien de verles. Yo siempre me pregunte como eran mis padres, los podia oir adentro de mi primer mundo, asi que los entiendo totaaaaaalmente!! Ella es bien bonita, tiene muchisimo cabello y se veia super tranquila cuando la visitamos hoy. Yo estuve feliz de conocerla finalmente y me cerciore de que ella supiera que yo estaba alli con mis gritos, que sepa que estaba lista para jugar con ella, pero parece que estaba cansada, durmio todo el tiempo que la visitamos. Yo le hice señas con la mano para decirle "hola" y le mande besitos tambien. :)

Aqui van algunas fotos mias con una pareja de Canada, Lara & Jjumba, quienes son buenos amigos con mis papis, y quienes estuvieron de visita en Madison el pasado fin de semana.. asi que nosotros tambien fuimos. Me gusto el viaje en auto esta vez, me encanto ver afuera de la ventana, los arboles y las colinas llamaron mucho mi atencion!

Una vez estando en Madison la pasamos bien, el viernes jugamos juegos por la noche: yo jugue con mis amiguitas Layli y Rumi, mientras los adultos jugaban entre ellos. Al dia siguiente nos fuimos al Zoologico y disfrute mucho viendo todos los animales que normalmente me encanta apuntar en mis libritos, y en especial estuve fascinada con las jirafas, son suuuuuper altas!!! ;)

Here are some pictures of me meeting a couple from Canada, Lara & Jjumba, who are friends with my parents, and who were visiting the friends in Madison last weekend, so we also went. I enjoyed the car ride, I loved looking outside through the windows, the trees and hills caught my attention numerous times!

Once we arrived in Madison we had a Friday games night and I played with my friends, Layli and Rumi, while the grown ups played among themselves. Next day we went to the Zoo and I loved watching all the animals I normally love to point at in my books, I especially was in awe with the giraves, they are sooo tall!!!!! :)

Finalmente esta aqui y el verano ha traido muchas ricas frutas que estoy disfrutando. Me encantan todas las frutas y me gusta estudiarlas y luego comerlas, cuando son jugosas me gustan apretarlas y a veces me gusta ponerlas dentro de mi ropa, quien sabe, tal vez mas tarde se me antojen!

Finally the summer is here and has brought many yummy fruits that I've been enjoying eating. I love all of them and I like to study them first and then eat them, and when they are juicy I like to squeeze them and sometimes I like to put some inside my clothes, you never know, maybe later I would like some!!

There they are, with their Mommies, and I was very happy to see them and play with them. My Mom and I went to Madison for a two days trip and that is how I got to be with my friends and their families. I went out for a car ride with Layli and we slept while our Moms had a good chat, and also we went to an indoor playground, so Rumi showed me all the good things to do there, since she is walking all around and knows what things are!!

Ahi estan las dos, con sus Mamis. Yo estuve feliz de verlas y jugar con ellas en este viajecito a Madison que hicimos con mi Mami de dos dias.
